Cartwheel
Business Automation with no gymnastics required
On a whim, I got an article in my google news feed that came from indie hackers. I'm not usually one to post on public forums, but since I thought I could help, I threw my hat into the ring. Imagine my surprise when a few hours later, I had 2 new sign ups! I sent them a welcome email, and have been watching usage, so I'm hoping they end up converting into paid users.
After months of development, and lots of internal testing, We've finally released Cartwheel to our first customer! To be able to pay my own bills, I do freelance software development, and the company I'm working through currently had a very manual invoicing process. I was able to get the CEO on the phone for a demo, and show him how it could help optimize his billing process, as well as his reporting process for gathering information from his contractors. He agreed to sign up, and has been using the software ever since!

I created Cartwheel as a way to ensure I was never missing out on, or waiting on money from invoices that I'm owed. By building the product, I was able to focus more on tasks that I could bill for.
