April 2022 Shifting focus to getting traction

We are shifting focus. While figuring out what to build, the main problem area I found most interesting is getting early traction. Getting to that magic milestone of your first 100 users. Where do you get a bunch of early adopters you just want to cuddle for their knowledge, their patience for your bugs, their shared vision with your road ahead.

Casuaris is on a mission to get you your first 100 users.

November 2021 Casuaris, the idea

Building a successful start-up is an enormous amount of work.

Much of that work is outside your comfort zone. Developers like to develop, marketeers like to market, designers like to design. But as a founder or co-founder, you need to do everything, to make your idea a success. But where to start?

Casuaris, helps you with this, by guiding you to do all the uncomfortable task, outside your comfort zone. It is not a project management tool, not a task list.

Casuaris is a set of tools, to set targets, show you what metrics require attention. Block your time, to force you to focus on other task, you normally would not do. And help you with best practices.

  • You can invite your start-up mentor and your outside experts.

  • Decide what to do based on impact/effort matrix

  • Place your metrics in a kanban that will have the most impact

  • TImebox bigger projects to better estimate what is involved

  • Start tracking key metrics, that you are not familiar with

  • Create do-nothing scripts to help you perform daily or weekly repetitive tasks, that are too hard or complicated to automate or not yet fully crystallized.

So stop hiding behind your comfy tree, and face your Casuaris. It will punch you, and it will kick you. But in the end, you can wear a badass pointy mohawk yourself.
