It's been almost a month since we made our site live. We now have 155 active users. CatholicLuv is still free, so we're still paying everything out of pocket, and we will probably stay free for quite some time. 155 active users is not enough for a dating site, so we will need to explore other avenues to acquire users. We will continue to stay gimmick free and only implement features that help users or features that users requests.

We announced CatholicLuv on https://www.reddit.com/r/CatholicDating and we received a lot of positivity. It seems we found a pain point. Approximately 50 users signed up that first and second day. We'll continue to work on CatholicLuv and keep the community updated.

I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem, and so last week I sat down to think about all the problems in my life. I've used some Catholic dating sites in the past, and all were terrible. They had too many gimmicks, looked like a social network rather than a dating site. I've decide to create a pure dating site for Catholics.

This led me to create CatholicLuv!
