Centsible
Simple envelope budgeting for your phone.
The last month I've been feeling a bit bummed at the growth of my app. What I thought was 8 months and a few paying subscribers made me feel like the growth is not happening fast enough. Going through my analytics I learned that it wasn't 8, but 5 months. While only a 3 month difference, that's what it took to knock some sense into me.
I was able to get a few users, who I do not know, to find value in my app. That's pretty cool. Sure, I don't have my first 100 users yet. But I'm working on it.
Today I set up a survey and sent it to my users. The hope is to better understand what the actual problem Centsible solves for them. With that info I can pivot my messaging around that exact problem and solution. I'll also double down on content with that problem in mind.
Wish me luck!
About
I was looking for an envelope based budgeting app that didn't require you to login on a computer in order to get the full benefit. Most of the competitors in the space build for desktop and mobile tends to lag behind.

Awesome notandy, it's always great to reach out!
What do you do in terms of marketing?
That's my other problem. I spent weeks doing content market research. But just couldn't find how my content could make it through the noise. So I never really took the content marketing past the research stage. Picked that back up last night.
Also looking into Twitter and Instagram as different channels. Seriously considering YouTube. At least to have video demos of my product. But most of this hasn't gotten off the ideas stage 😅.
I think the best thing you can do is just start. It doesn't matter if you fail 100 times as long as you start because you don't start learning until you actually start.
So choose a channel, and then just start and test stuff, see what works, and of course, do your research, but the most important thing: Just start.
