Cepho
Code from your phone. No PC required
I dont build for money, its my hobby and i really enjoy it - that was step 1.
Step 2+, get that from Cepho.cloud/launch
Know your marked better then others, and you will succed.
The good idea never hits when you have the time og working on your amazing idea, it always comes, when the mind has free.
To me, its typical at the mornings alle the ideas come, when i dont have time to open my laptop.
The problem is solved, you just dont use it yet - but why?
Cepho is not cursor mobile, or Claude mobile - its not a Google screencast
Cepho is another window to your projects.
Connect IDE, and you are good to go, work on your dream while the momentum is active, instead of scroll SoMe shots all day.
You welcome

When you see something new, i bet you do like me
''naaah...''
and if its smart, you be like ''but what if all my work went missing because of a mistake? i dont want to gamble with that ''
Therefor, i work to get Github into Cepho.
So now you will get an ekstra backup.
Instead of just sync back and forward from cepho and cursor, you can very soon, upload to Github, that way, nothing can ever be gone, even if, cepho bugs - wich it wont, and you know why?
Everything is already synced to firebase history, so we can always go back.
- Guess, github is 'just in case' in Chepho - hope you like it.

You know the little annoying issue, when you need help to set up something - and you take a Screenshot, copy/paste it to ai, and this loop is going on and on multiple times?
Ja its done now, no more copy/paste - cepho got eyes on the next update. One click, screenshot is taken and sent straight to the chat.
From pc to pc or from pc to app, its your choice
We call it Cepho Eye

The PH lunch is over now - and tbh, it did not go as i hoped it would.
nr 110, 5 followers, 4 upvotes and 0 comment - but 9 went though, and signed up for a founderspot on the webside!
Cepho is growing slowly, and i choose to belive thats a good thing.
Went nr 9 in here yesterday, got about 5k that read about cepho(on reddit alone), and we are still here.
Some of the comments yesterday was like '' you do know cursor mobile is here soon, what do you think of that ''
If you have been thinking the same though, then let me clear the air right away.
- Cepho is not batteling cursor, its a layer on cursor
- Cepho makes your project live 24/7 right in your hand - when you waiting on the bus, having launch og just ''chilling k'illing''
- why just look at your code, why dont you build it?
Cursor mobile is a remote control — you dispatch tasks to cloud agents and wait for results. That's powerful, but it's passive.
Cepho is a continuation. You open your phone and you're already in context. Chat with AI about your actual files, make edits, apply changes that sync back to your desktop. Or skip the AI entirely and code manually — same sync flow.
The difference:
Cursor mobile is built for reviewing.
Cepho is built for building
Any questions, just ask

I made a video for Cepho.
Install, connect, sync both ways, everything in a one-take video
Check it out: Cepho.cloud/launch

I kept losing momentum every time I stepped away from my desk.
Mid-thought, good flow — then life happens. Kid needs something, you're on the bus, you're not at your PC.
So I built Cepho. It syncs your Cursor/VS Code workspace to the cloud so you can keep coding from your phone.
AI that knows your actual files. Apply changes that push back to your desktop. No copy/paste, no remote desktop, no PC that needs to be on.
Launched on Product Hunt 06-23-2026 if anyone wants to check it out or roast it: https://www.producthunt.com/products/cepho?utm_source=other&utm_medium=social
Would love honest feedback from all of you.

Forget the PH rank, the signal is in those 9 signups, so talk to all 9 this week because they raised their hand for a reason and will tell you the exact moment Cepho saved them. Your own origin story is the wedge: the bus, the kid, the 10-minute window of flow you lose when you leave the desk. Sell that moment, not 'code from your phone,' and a thin layer on Cursor is fine as long as you own a moment they will never prioritize.

Feels like the real bottleneck is not syncing code, it is context recovery when you come back after being away. Most mobile dev tools underestimate how much cognitive state is tied to the full desktop environment, not just files.
If the trust in remote edits ever slips even once, people will hesitate to let a phone touch production level code, so reliability perception becomes the real adoption gate here.

That's exactly the risk. Reliability isn't a feature, it's the foundation.
One bad sync that touches production code and trust is gone.
We keep apply changes opt-in for exactly that reason-
1
Opt-in apply is the right call for the trust problem that's the half that protects against a bad edit landing in production.
The context recovery half is a separate challenge though: even with safe edits, the bigger friction might be the few minutes it takes someone to remember where they were which function they were mid-thought on, what they were about to try next, why they touched that file. If Cepho could surface a quick you were here, this was the plan snapshot when you open it on your phone, that might matter more for actually resuming flow than the sync itself.
Have you noticed users dropping off at that "re-orientation" moment, or has feedback mostly been about the sync/reliability side so far?

Built this because I needed it myself — painter by trade, self-taught developer. Cepho is my way of staying in the flow even when I'm not at my desk.
Beta APK is live at cephos webside if anyone wants to try it. Brutal honest feedback welcome

One thing I'd be curious about is whether the thing people miss most when they step away is actually access to the workspace.
Reading this, I found myself noticing that the problem is described as losing momentum, while the solution is described as maintaining access.
Those can end up being related without necessarily being the same thing.
That's the part I'd be most interested in learning from users.

That's a sharp distinction — and honestly, I don't fully know yet. My assumption is that for me, access was the momentum. The second I couldn't see my files, I mentally checked out.
But you might be right that for others it's different. Maybe it's context — knowing where you left off. Maybe it's just the feeling of still being 'in it.'
That's exactly what I'm hoping to learn from the first real users. What's your gut on it?
-
1
I'm not sure I'd trust my gut enough to pick between those yet.
What makes it interesting to me is that each explanation could probably produce similar user behavior while pointing toward very different product decisions.
I've got a few thoughts on that, but it's probably more than I'd try to unpack properly in a thread.
What's the best email to reach you on?
