CertiFried IT

Hit send on the first issue of the CertiFried IT Weekly Newsletter. The newsletter is sent to 5 members of the mailing list and also posted as an article on CertiFriedIT.com as an article the next day. This launch marks a commitment to continue publishing an article to email subscribers weekly.

The first article I published on CertiFriedIT reached and surpassed 1K views, after ranking highly on google.
This traction happened 7 months after first going live, showing just how slow SEO can take to show results.
The spike began in October, with the momentum continuing throughout November.

Via the Medium Partner Program, CertiFried earned $0.02 from a library of 3 monitised articles on the platform. The money has yet to transfer to my bank account however as I need to hit a minimum of $0.30 for funds to transfer 😂😂😂

Bought the domain certifriedit.com and got the ball rolling.

At the same time, I began trialing different blogging platforms, eventually settling on ghost.org for the main site and the mailing list. The first iteration of the site went live at the same time as did the Medium publication.

Published an article titled "How to install Windows Server 2019 in a VM with VMWare" to Medium, which became the first article to go live on CertiFried IT. The article took way longer than it should have to finish writing, eventually going live April 22nd.
