After two years of hard work, I’m excited to announce the official launch of ChannelFind!

This project began with a simple goal: to connect YouTube creators and sponsors with transparency and fairness.

But this is just the beginning. My next goal is to allow sponsors to create campaigns and invite multiple creators at once.

July 25, 2024 Overcoming Setbacks

The road to launching ChannelFind wasn’t smooth. From failed attempts at optimizing search queries to debugging asynchronous tasks that slowed the platform, there were moments I thought I’d never make it.

But each failure taught me something new. I refined the platform step by step, focusing on scalability and speed. Today, I can say the results are finally good enough to share with the world.

March 18, 2024 How AI Helped (and Didn’t Help) Build ChannelFind

AI was both a blessing and a challenge during ChannelFind’s development.

Tools like ChatGPT, Phind, and DeepSeek saved me hours by helping with small pieces of code and optimizations.

But I quickly learned that you can’t rely on AI for complex systems. Asking it to build entire solutions was a waste of time—it only worked when I broke problems into manageable chunks.

One huge win was using AI for classifications, allowing the platform to connect creators and sponsors more effectively.

December 26, 2023 Building a Platform Bigger Than Myself

When I started working on ChannelFind, I thought I had decent coding skills.

But building a scalable platform tracking over 500 million YouTube channels was a completely different challenge.

Asynchronous tasks became a nightmare, speed optimization was critical, and every millisecond mattered.

I went from feeling like an “80/100” developer to realizing I was more like “20/100.”

But each struggle made me stronger. This journey transformed my understanding of development, scaling, and problem-solving on a whole new level.

August 12, 2022 How ChannelFind Was Born

The idea for ChannelFind came to me in 2022 when I was trying to promote my Amazon products through YouTube creators. Many creators were quoting prices that didn’t align with their actual reach, making it difficult to assess fair value.

I started analyzing their average video views and used cost-per-view benchmarks to make fair offers.

To my surprise, creators accepted these offers, and it hit me—there’s a huge gap in connecting creators and sponsors transparently. That’s when ChannelFind was born: a platform to bridge this gap with real, actionable data.
