Sometimes we have multiple Jira projects. The majority of them are for internal teams, but there are also those that company clients have access to. In the past, there was no way to selectively pick projects for which the app shows up - it was all or nothing. You install the app and it appears everywhere. You don't and you cannot use it. Now, you can select the projects which have the app enabled. I hope this feature will limit the friction for users with bigger Jira instances.
As time goes by, we see more and more available ChatGPT versions. They differ in capabilities, i.e. how much of the conversation they remember, pricing, response time and quality of conversation. It's hard to pick the best variant, so I let users make this decision. There is a new configuration panel, which allows you to change between ChatGPT 3.5 and 4. People more eager to test, and willing to wait longer for answers can enjoy the benefits of the newest AI models.
I analyzed other jira applications and noticed that something that they do much better is documentation. Since the beginning, I didn't invest time to keep it up to date and didn't describe new features. As I kept adding more and more features, I decided to spend some time and list all of them in a document with a short explanation on how to access them and use. I also edited the listing of the app, from a free text focusing on customer benefits to a flat list of features linking to individual sections of the document. This way, I tell more about what the app can do using shorter, limited space and users will see that the app is not simply a chat, but is something bigger š
