ChatGPT Prompt Loader
A prompt management extension for Chrome
I got tired of rewriting the same prompts in ChatGPT over and over. I have my CLI prompt library but needed something for desktop sessions.
The options out there seemed dodgy, nothing open source, no data statements that I could trust. So I built the solution:
Stores prompts as key:value pairs in Chrome storage
Edit them via the extension settings page
Open ChatGPT
Click the extension
Select a prompt
It gets inserted directly into the input

About
Most people store prompts in notes, lose good variations and keep copy-pasting. This tool fixes that by making prompts persistent, organized and instantly accessible in ChatGPT. Open source, data stays in your browser.

Most people find it incredibly tedious to maintain a "scratchpad" or a separate document just to copy-paste the same five system prompts or formatting instructions every time they start a new thread. It is a real disruption to your creative flow when you have to go hunting through old chats just to find that one specific persona or output structure that worked perfectly last week. Since you built this to be more secure than existing options, does the extension keep all prompt data strictly within the local Chrome storage, or is there an option for users to sync their library across different devices?
The extension keeps it in chrome storage for local usage. There's the ability to have the extension sync down to local browser storage from another remote source if you want to sync across devices, but it won't sync back up.
I handle it by having my internal network have a file host that I edit directly with protections and then I sync down from each extension installation
sir unblocked me your website for me . I need this tool
Sorry! The original security tooling we had was far stronger than needed. It's been rolled back so it's nearly globally available
