I got tired of losing ChatGPT answers… so I built this
I would ask multiple questions, get really useful answers, and then later I couldn’t find them again.
Scrolling endlessly through long chats just to find one response is honestly painful.
If I wanted to save something, I had to:
• copy paste everything
• send it to WhatsApp or notes
• or manually create a PDF
Super messy and time-consuming.
So I ended up building a Chrome extension
It basically:
• shows all your prompts in one place
• lets you click and jump directly to that part of the chat
• export any Q&A as a clean PDF in 1 click
• even has a “performance mode” that reduces lag in long chats
It made my workflow way smoother.

Saw you may be implementing this for claude, I believe claude has a saved conversation or remember feature. Would this be different? I have been using claude and if I ask it to refer to a chat we had or something above it seems to be remembering correctly
Remember is complete diff thing and nagivating to excat part of conversation is didd thing, whn u ask cluade to revise the old part converstion it will give breif summary abt it, but not excat same answer that you needed, got my point, any query's sir ?

This solves a very real problem. Scrolling through long chats to find a single useful answer can be frustrating and time-consuming. I like how you focused on simplifying access and improving workflow instead of adding unnecessary complexity.

Out of curiosity, have you tested how AI models interpret the product from the site alone?
We’ve seen some tools where the core value is clear to humans, but not to AI — which affects how they get recommended.

Honestly haven't tested that systematically — great call out.
I just tried asking Claude and ChatGPT to describe ChatTrack
from the site alone. Claude got the "local storage + privacy"
angle right but missed the in-page sidebar completely. ChatGPT
described it as a generic export tool.
That's a problem. Going to tighten the landing page copy this
week. Thanks for pushing me to actually check — would have
ignored this otherwise.
I’ve wasted so much time scrolling old chats just to find one good answer. Having everything organized + quick jump sounds genuinely useful.

I ran into the exact same issue — not just losing answers, but how hard it is to actually reuse them later.
Most setups I’ve tried (notes, exports, etc.) help with saving, but they still feel disconnected when you want to pull pieces into a new workflow.
Feels like the real problem isn’t storage, it’s making those answers usable again.
Curious — do you find yourself actually going back to saved stuff, or mostly just collecting it?
The unique feature of extension is going back to your required stuff, so check it out it is solving your important problem
it is especially useful when ChatGPT chats get long and start responding very slowly on a browser
yes Tom, thats the main pupose of built the extension, to make your work smooth and easy, if such i can always make use of "Performace Mode" feature for smoother UI experience

This is a real pain because ChatGPT is useful, but retrieval inside long chats still feels broken.

A lot of good tools win because they remove friction after the “main feature” already works. The answers were valuable already, the missing layer was being able to find and reuse them easily.
