Checkout Pilot

Just two days after announcing the plugin we have our first pre-order! They appear to have found the plugin through the announcement post on my personal blog.

This is super exciting and extremely motivating!

After re-discovering the project code repository on GitHub after five years I decided to actually try sell the product.

Renamed it from Checkout Later to Checkout Pilot to allow for feature expansion going forward, created a simple logo, bought the domain checkoutpilot.com and created a very basic landing page with a pre-order button via Gumroad.

Came up with the idea for "checkout later" after many times of not wanting to complete a purchase while browsing on mobile. Wouldn't it be nice to have a simple email input field right above the cart and checkout form to allow users to send the shopping cart to their email.

Created a private repository on GitHub with an MVP of a WordPress plugin for WooCommerce. Created a demo site to ask for feedback.
