Cherinity

My Maltese dog is the real reason Cherinity exists. Every day I watch him zoom around like a tiny tornado or sigh dramatically at an empty food bowl, and I always think: "What is he actually feeling right now?" It felt like such a missed opportunity to just take a photo or video— I wanted to capture those moments in a way that made them come alive.

So I built Cherinity: an app that uses AI to add first-person subtitles to pet videos, letting them "narrate" their own adventures. A simple clip of zoomies becomes "Human, this is peak chaos. Catch me if you dare!" or a lazy nap turns into "Sunbeam acquired. Life complete." It's hilarious, surprisingly accurate sometimes, and instantly makes the bond feel deeper.

Cherinity isn't just another pet app—it's a cozy space for pet lovers everywhere to share these voiced moments, laugh together, comment, and connect over the little things our animals do. I'm building it solo in Seoul, and the biggest joy so far is imagining more people smiling at what their pets are "really" saying.

If you're a pet parent, try it out and tell me: what's the funniest thing your pet has "said" so far? 🐶❤️
