A lot of this revenue was through engaging with the email list, and driving Facebook ads. It's been a painful process at times, and I had to put in a lot into the Facebook Ads account, but it was a very valuable learning experience and I believe it's an overall good ROI.

This represents the first month of revenue.

I signed the contract that made the acquisition official.

I have 8 months of payments to make still before the store is officially mine so the pressure is on for each month to generate enough profit to cover the payments.

The price was very reasonable because the store had initially been shut down, so no sales prior to me picking it up, but there was still an email list and engaged customers writing in.
