Chime.ly
Text your audience and avoid the spam folder/unread quagmire
Just pushed my first landing page to production. Using Jekyll to generate the static site and embedding airtable forms as iframes to collect signups.
Originally I thought I'd focus on messaging during events. Over the first couple of months I started see places I wanted to be texted instead of emailed throughout my life. I decided to do a mini-pivot to "Mailchimp for Text Messages". I brainstormed about 40 names, checked domain availability, showed 5 to my fiance. She choose chime.ly so here we are. #movingfast #namedoesntmatteryet

I stood up the scaffolding and started to work on the back end of app. Working name: Text Your Guests.

About
I built chime.ly to communicate with my wedding guests. I needed to text everyone without using a massive group text. I'm now transforming it so anyone can quickly and effectively reach their audience.
