Create amazing chord progressions with ease
ChordCreate was born from the idea of building something quickly, releasing it to the world, and seeing if it works. As a hobbyist music producer, I’ve always loved making music, and during the excitement around AI, especially with the release of ChatGPT, I decided to challenge myself to build and release something over a weekend.
When coming up with the idea, I had one main criterion: it had to be something I could get working by the end of that weekend. Simple. So, I started experimenting with ChatGPT, diving into prompt engineering. I wondered, "What if I asked it to create a chord progression?" And boom—that’s how ChordCreate was born. It brought together my love for music and software development in one project.
By the end of the weekend, I had a working version of ChordCreate locally. It took me an extra week to deploy and release it, but when I shared it in a few forums and on Product Hunt, the traffic I received was far beyond anything I’d experienced with other projects. Until then, my visitors were mostly just friends and family, but this time it was different.
Since then, I’ve continued to iterate and build on that initial version. There's still a lot of work to be done, and the biggest challenge now is figuring out how to monetize and grow ChordCreate in a way that adds value both to the users and to me as the creator. I’ve been focused on this for the last few months, but that’s a story for another day.

Honestly up until this point it's been pure SEO and organic traffic, I haven't really invested in marketing and target ads yet or enough.
Target audience:
Yes my target audience, is music producers song writers and people who generally want to learn some theory on music.
Is it profitable:
It is, due to the advancement of AI and the work to make AI cheaper it has cut my cost dramatically. So yes it's profitable (ramen profitable). It's not life changing money but still exciting.
Yes I have more features under a paywall, and I'm continuing to add more and more features also just trying to make the tool better. I know it's not perfect.
