March 6, 2026 DFY: 🚀 Chrome Goldmine - Find & Build Your Next $100K Chrome Extension - All Research Done

Many indie makers (including me) struggle with "idea validation", so I built a curated, researched, interactive Notion Database & Playbook to help you choose your next profitable Chrome Extension out of 9600+ expired ones, including 10+ implementation guides. It's a complete playbook, in Notion.

I've made a sample of the Notion Project that you can visit here:
https://r4fken.notion.site/3194fef352a880c0995aebcde82375d
Note that the sample database only contains 20 entries. The complete one has 9656.

If you prefer a terribly made (by me, using AI) launch video with a talking avatar that's not me and only screenshots in the background because I'm not Tarantino, you can enjoy that one here:

Key features

  • 9,656 expired Chrome extensions with revenue projections and metadata.

  • More than 10 implementation manuals (rebuilding, monetizing, promotion, etc.) & a 60-page Premium Research Report.

  • Interactive Notion database plus downloadable CSV for instant analysis.

  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee · Used by 500+ indie makers · Updated quarterly

  • Ideal for indie hackers, solo SaaS builders, and vibe coders (even beginners).

As this is just the start of a (hopefully) long journey, I'd really appreciate to get feedback from the community!

February 22, 2026 Launch Imminent: Validated micro-SaaS ideas!

The coming week I'm launching the Chrome Goldmine on several websites. It's a database of almost 10,000 recently expired Chrome extensions I discovered during my search for "validated ideas" to create.

As I thought other indie makers could use this information as well, I wrote some scripts for AI-assisted web scraping and research for each of the individual extensions. That means each entry in the list now has 12 data points!

A quick list:
- Name
- Chrome Web Store URL
- User Count
- Ratings & Reviews
- Number of Reviews
- Expiration Reason
- Category/Niche
- Monetization Potential
- Revenue Estimates
- Monetization Strategies
- Competitor Analysis (if any)
- Key Selling Points

So all the research is done for you! And as you can download the database as CSV or as an interactive Notion database, you can sort and filter and do whatever you want with the data until you find the perfect extension for you to rebuild!

I also added 10 different guides and case studies to the Notion file: Quick Start Guide, Action Plan, Recommended Tools, FAQ, Resources, Case Studies, Monetization Guides and even a Chrome Web Store SEO Manual.

So, if you're an indie maker or solopreneur looking for your next profitable (and validated) project, this one's for you!

This is a neat dataset, but I’m curious what “validated” means in practice here. Is validation mostly based on usage / reviews / revenue signals, or more on qualitative patterns? I’ve seen a lot of “expired but dead for a reason” ideas too, so the filtering criteria feels like the real product.

Sorry for the delay in replying. No, with validated, I meant that each expired extension has been researched (using AI credits, yes), so there's 12 data points for each of the 9600+ extensions (of which about half prove how much the extension was earning before expiration).

And not only that! I have included 10 "implementation manuals": from the actual rebuilding, to monetizing, to promotion and Chrome Web Store SEO optimization...
It's a complete playbook to rebuild expired extensions, for indie makers and even beginning vibe coders!

But you do have a point though. I did not save each "source" the AI used for the amounts stated in the database, that would have been too much. Now I'm starting to doubt that decision.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. Interesting approach.

        Good luck with the project!
