Chronicle
Your voice-based personal AI memory
Hey Indie Hackers — I’m Clara, Brand & Community Lead at Lightware, the Lisbon software studio behind Chronicle. We’re building it because recording something is easy, but actually using it later is usually terrible: people capture voice notes, ideas, names, dates, and meeting takeaways all the time, then lose them in a pile they never revisit. Chronicle is our attempt to turn that into a personal AI memory you can speak into naturally and query later with real questions like “What did I say about this last week?” or “When did I last mention this person?” The focus is not journaling or mood tracking — it’s recall. Speak naturally, capture what matters, and let the app organize it for you so you can get answers later without folders, tags, or manual cleanup. I’d love feedback on the positioning: does this feel more like a productivity tool, a memory tool, or a category of its own?
About
Chronicle exists to solve the black hole of voice notes. We wanted a way to speak naturally, capture what matters, and later ask questions across everything we recorded — without having to organize it ever.
