What is this app?
Chrono is an offline app for taking micro-notes about any events in your life. It helps you quickly capture thoughts, ideas, and moments without being distracted by the internet or other apps.
The core methodology of Chrono is Zettelkasten. This is a system for structuring information through short notes that are easy to link together. Think of each note as a separate brick, and together they form a whole wall of knowledge. This approach makes it easy to find connections between ideas and ensures you don’t lose important thoughts.
What makes Chrono unique?
I couldn't find an app that allowed me to quickly and conveniently make notes and tag them effortlessly. Chrono solves that problem with ease! Tagging and organizing your notes is simple and effective, so you can focus on what really matters.
Unlike most apps, where chatbots just interact with you, Chrono allows you to ask questions based on your notes. Your information really starts working for you — ask a question and get answers based on what you’ve previously written.
GPT on your terms: Chrono lets you integrate ChatGPT, but all you need is to generate your own OpenAI API key. The cool part is that you can choose any model from the list and pay only for your own requests. In the end, this is even cheaper than a subscription to standard GPT apps!
