Church Tools Sermons
Free sermon library software for churches
ChurchTools Sermons is completely free software. There are three ways I'm planning on making money with this thing:
- Donations. (Both one time and patreon)
- Sponsorships (When we grow to a certain size, these will not be targeted ads but hand picked, traditional sponsorships.)
- Integrations: customizing my tools to work with existing products and services.
I've been launched less than two weeks, and I've already got my first paid integration with a church website company. It's only $200 per month, but that's enough to cover expenses at this point.
I'm really excited about finding other paid integrations and using them to get this through the early days.
A friend wrote about my tool on his email list and I got 50 new users in one day (and counting).
Amazingly, I've had 0 bug reports today and only one question that was more a "how can you do this" than a "help! something isn't working."
I've also been booked to talk about this on a podcast and have an established website company wanting to pay me to make an integration. Not bad for a week in :)
We have users!
Went to bed last night and there were 0. Woke up this morning and there were 4. I've sent each a personal email letting them know what number user they are so if this thing ever blows up they can have bragging rights.
Next milestone - first donation. :)

How did you launch?
I've been working on this for a few weeks and have a very functional MVP that I'm ready to reveal to the world. I just need to make a few last minute changes and create some kind of landing page and then let people on it.
I'm extremely proud of this one. It's actually far better than a paid product I made a few years ago, and I'm giving it away for free.
