I shipped a visual refresh and added a new “Similar” feature.

Now you can search for a movie, TV show, or anime you already like and get a dedicated page with similar recommendations. For example: movies like Interstellar, shows like Game of Thrones, or anime like Naruto.

The redesign also cleaned up the quiz flow, cards, popups, and sharing previews.

I’m super excited to share this project with you all. I got tired of endlessly scrolling to find something to watch, so I built Cinely to help pick movies, series, or anime based on your mood in just three quick questions. I went a bit crazy tweaking the recommendation algorithm to make it as spot-on as possible — and I’m still working on it because perfection’s just the beginning! 😅 I’d love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think.
