July 25, 2025 Circit hits 100 users 🎉

Just six months ago, during winter quarter at UCSB, my friends and I were wondering how to stay close after graduating. We tried juggling different social apps but always felt something was missing... places were either too public, too performative, or made it hard to just be ourselves. That’s why we built Circit: a place where posts and replies matter more than profiles and follower counts, where your circles are only your real contacts, and where life’s little moments disappear after a few days, just like real life.

This week, Circit reached 100 awesome users!
Thank you for being part of this early community, for sharing lame dinners, inside jokes, and everyday moments with us. It’s already helped us stay connected after leaving Santa Barbara, and we hope it brings you and your friends closer too, no matter how far apart you are.

We’re rolling out new features, and would love to hear your feedback as we grow.
Try Circit, invite a few friends, and let us know what would make it even better!

Here’s to the next 100 🎈

We built Circit to bring authenticity and conversation back to social media. A space where you can share & converse, freely and casually, within a strictly enforced private network of your contacts.
