After finally adding support for breakout rooms, we've just launched on Product Hunt! We spent an hour preparing the page, posted to a couple social media channels, and saw a successful PH launch day reaching over 200 upvotes from the community!
After an intense 20 days of coding, we launched a very basic first version / minimum viable product and placed it in the hands of friends. Although it was buggy, we got great feedback and had requests from friends to share with others. We knew we were onto something but weren't sure what quite yet. This got us excited to continue working on Circles.
After experiencing our own frustrations with the Zoom client across sales calls and internal team meetings after transitioning to a distributed team, we came up with the idea for Circles for Zoom to give people their desktop back while in meetings and drive productivity.
