markwise.app

Surprisingly, the landing page is attracting more attention...

More people sign up daily, mostly academics... The user churn rate is high, but it's too early to understand it yet. It looks promising so far. I assume people are sharing the product with each other, so the product is currently growing organically. Apart from here, I am not doing any marketing at the moment. As I mentioned earlier, I built it for my own needs and converted it into a product when others asked to use it.

I have shipped the personal note features today. Now, users can add private notes to their bookmarks. Sometimes, I bookmark things to use later but can't recall the reason. With this new feature, I will now know and remember :)

If you haven't tried it yet, you can start using it in less than 30 seconds. 👇

I came up with this idea 2 years ago. I started work on it a year ago. The private beta was completely different and was released 6 months ago.

But now it's in public beta. I see some users somehow finding and registering on a daily basis. I use it daily too. It's still too early to commercialize it because I need to release a browser extension as well as foundational features such as summarization and recommendation, among others.

I wanted to share the update here. Thank you if you read until the last word.
Here is the link that you can test. Please give feedback and receive a one-month pro coupon.
