I run a one-person business entirely on Claude. After a year of it, I noticed the thing slowing me down wasn't the model — it was me. I'd open a blank chat for a real task (a sales page, a customer research script, a cold email) and not know how to frame it, so I'd type something vague and get vague back.

The fix wasn't "learn prompt engineering." It was building a system that asks me the 3 things that actually matter, then assembles the prompt:

- the role Claude should play

- the context of my specific task

- the constraints + output format I need
