Claude Side Panel for Chrome Google Extension

Anthropic's native product closes every time you switch tabs. It misbehaves with tabs. It just doesn't work the way I need it to.

I searched for an alternative. Found nothing. So I built it myself.

The fun part — Claude's own code blocked all the buttons in the side panel. Hacking around that took most of those 10 hours. Good times.

What it does:

• Stays open when you switch tabs

• Doesn't lose your context

• Works as a proper persistent side panel

Why I built it: I just wanted Claude always available on the side while I work. Simple ask. Apparently not so simple to build.
