Signed up to the YC startup school. To my surprise, I have listened to all the content last year on podcasts. The weekly group sessions are okish as many people do not dial in. The biggest benefit is getting thousands of dollars of credits from heroku and aws. My server costs are sorted for a year and now I do not worry about the capacity much.

Posted the first beta version of the app on play store. I expected to get a milllion users in the first seven days without marketing so was well prepared in terms of server capacity. 2 months later, I have 2 users, myself and a friend, but hey this will work one day

Wanted to just practice all my android and design skills on a side project. TODO apps are too common. I thought I am good at finance stuff and keep track of multiple accounts in a spreadsheet, why not make an app with cool reporting that could be used by other too
