Cloudbit
Managed UniFI Controller Hosting
We've just added a couple features like offsite backups and a new controller detail page which gives more insight into what's running and the ability to restore from snapshots!

We have updated our prices to be better aligned with what our customers are expecting as well as lowering the bar of entry to get onto our platform.
Very excited to see how this affects signups!

As a part of your subscription you will now get email alerts for when any sort of exceptional event that occurs within your network. This solves a pain point for a lot of people who are running home networks.

As soon I got done launching my MVP I immediately posted on Hacker News, where I made it to the front page and received quite a few visits. From those visits I was able to get a few signups and ended up getting one to convert to a paid plan!
I'm excited for what comes next!

From idea to MVP took right around a week. I was able to leverage Laravel to get me to this point. There were many late nights getting this done and there should have been many more, but I was sure to strip away any features that weren't absolutely essential.

I've always wanted to build my own thing and I've wanted that to be a SaaS company, but I've wasn't able to come up with an idea until I upgraded my house to run all UniFi equipment. After having got my controller setup in the cloud, I thought why don't I make this process easier for everyone. From that came Cloudbit.
