CloudOptimus
WordPress hosting for bloggers & authors
Business has been stable, with many customers still on board & happy with the quality of service and support they've received for more than a year now (one of the reasons that I love the hosting business model).
Also, CloudOptimus has enabled a few customers to 10x their traffic since coming on board intially, support numerous website migrations & updates, and remain lightning fast like day one.
However, growth of the business so far has been inadequate & needs to be increased dramatically to ensure the success of the business over the long term.
I've had plenty of ideas for doing leadgen for the business, but the one that has stuck with me the most - roll all of my best speed tech and performance optimizations thus far into a free(mium) WordPress plugin.

CloudOptimus has come a long way. While there've been significant developments regarding the hosting platform, the customer base has grown exclusively through referrals & zero marketing or adspend up to now.

This day marks the beginning of an incredibly abitious (and extremely difficult) endeavor.
If you made the decision to build the best damn hosting platform that exists in modern times, how would you go about doing that? Where would you even start?
CloudOptimus started by getting that first customer.

There are many "me too" WordPress hosting companies, and it was clear that many of them were targeting no specific market segement. CloudOptimus was started to provide boutique WordPress hosting for bloggers & authors.
