Just released a new version of the CloudSh.js widget that removes the need for jQuery, allows for templates using Mustache, and can support images in the results!

November 30, 2018 Start building web application

Started to build out the web application where you can setup an index and integrate the JS into sites.

Built using Ruby on Rails.

January 30, 2018 Landing page & twitter accounts

Put up a landing page outlining the basic idea and started collecting email addresses of interested people. Also started promoting the idea and JAM stack stuff on Twitter.

Found the there was interest in the idea!

December 1, 2017 Prototype is built and running!

Built the web scraper and indexing application. First pass at the JS widget was built and launched on my personal blog: https://candland.net

I wanted search for my sites built in Jekyll. I think for most websites static is the way to go. After years maintaining WordPress sites, in most cases the value isn't there for the businesses.
