MVP is ready
It took 6 months, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for CodeCue. I worked mostly nights and weekends. There has been a lot of research and experimentation but I know feel like the search results are interesting enough to start the search for beta users.

Came up with the idea
What If I applied modern NLP techniques to source code? The first attempt could be a search engine for large codebase that lets developers locate functions using natural language queries. I could totally see this being useful with onboarding of new developers in larger teams.
