CODEHANCE
Platform to learn to CODE with Videos, Quizzes, Summaries
I plan to use this to put out content to reach more people who might be interested in what I have to say about coding, career changes, and my general experience in tech.
At the moment my commitment is to publish 3 contents a week and try to keep that consistent.
Now as a computer programmer I have built apps for small to large companies, finally going for it for myself to see if it can work for me too, it has been a journey of learning.
Finally, have some students signed up and paying whoop whoop!!
Still learning and celebrating every new signup, I have been reading a lot of business books recently, had to force myself to take a break from tech. documentations and learn/understand how to find my audience and learn how to talk to them, really loving this journey.
Still, some way to go, but loving the experience!

Blogging is a tougher task than I initially anticipated, but I have to say, the benefits are already visible even with just 2 posts under my belt so far.
This is why the process is tough, first have to come up with the content ideas, then research and finally write, the whole process takes me nearly a whole day.
In the last post, I had to record 9 youtube videos as a part of the whole things, that took even more time. Then comes the distribution phase.
So far I have around 18 different channels to manually distribute each blog post/content to, I spread this over a few days, I am going to delegate this task from next week so I can focus on creating more course content and dealing with queries.
Since I started blogging, I have had 15 new signups come as a result of the posts, all currently going through my FREE course and automation email sequence, so time will tell.
The most recent blog post is here:

Today I joined producthunt network, plan to use this as another channel to distribute my work and gain some momentum and hopefully make some relevant connections that will get codehance in front of the right audience.
Looking forward to seeing what comes from this new network.

Created with wagtail ( Python ) super easy to integrate then I used ubersuggest to find a topic in demand in ( SEO ) then set a few hours to write the content. Time to focus on distribution etc.
Still have a ton to learn in terms of marketing, but I am actually enjoying the process of creating the awareness.
At the moment I aim for 1 or 2 blog posts a week.

Very happy to announce that CODEHANCE MVP is now out there in the world, there are still some features that I am working work on but those will have to wait another week or so.
The next phase of work is getting social accounts and marketing strategy in place and then I need to build a team of two to take over that side of things.
Then I get my head back down to building some necessary features and adding more courses.

Today CODEHANCE has joined indie hackers and looking forward to learning and growing in the coming months and years.
It is great to finally take an idea and turn it into a product now time to begin the real work of sharing that work and guiding future students on the platform to become the next generation programmers.

I love teaching, and I see time and time again that newbies struggle to learn to code from one tutor, I designed codehance to be the one place to cater for developers of all levels.
