CodeLines

As a Principal Software Engineer working in Silicon Valley, I've conducted a fair share of interviews for the companies I've worked for. Most of the interview platforms tools at my disposition were antiquated. These tools did not have an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) or video conferencing embedded. Another set of tools were supplied for candidate feedbacks. So, after a couple of months working primarily on weekends, I finally put together a simple platform that include an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), video conferencing, code sharing and capabilities to provide feedbacks in real time during and after the interviews. These were the main pain points I was trying to address in a single platform. I still have my full-time time job and CodeLines was a side-project which was really fun to work on, considering that I had to build the front and back end, in addition to the mobile apps. I don't have any customers yet, but hopefully It would be cool to get a few users playing with CodeLines and provide some feedbacks. This is really exciting and I hope CodeLines will be a useful tool for interviewers out there...
