CodexPulse
AI career coach for developers. Auto standups, burnout score
I built a tool that quietly solves 3 problems I've seen developers struggle for years. That Monday Blues, when you scratch your head at the standup, about what I did the previous day or previous week..!! :)
https://www.codexpulse.io
Problem 1 — Writing standups.
Every morning Codexpulse.io, first thing, summarise yesterday's deep work in 3 sentences. It sounds simple. It rarely is.
Codexpulse.io reads your GitHub commits overnight and writes it for you. Open your laptop — it's already done.
Problem 2 — Knowing when to slow down.
Burnout doesn't announce itself. It builds quietly over weeks of intense sprints until one day you're completely empty.
Codexpulse.io scores your burnout risk from your commit patterns — so you can see it coming and actually do something about it.
Problem 3 — Seeing your own growth.
Most developers ship constantly but rarely stop to ask — am I actually getting better? Which skills am I building?
Codexpulse.io tracks your language usage, project activity and career trajectory over time. Your GitHub history is a goldmine of career data — you just need something to surface it.
It's private, simple and built specifically for developers and DevOps engineers.
Your repos stay yours. Your data stays yours. Always.
30 days free at codexpulse.io — no credit card needed.
If you're a developer or in DevOps — give it a try. I'd love to know what you think about this product.

Hey IH,
I want to share something I built after a personal experience with burnout.
About a year ago, my GitHub commit frequency quietly dropped. My standups became vague. I was shipping less, feeling stuck, but couldn't articulate why. By the time I realised I was burnt out, I'd already lost months of momentum.
I started tracking my own GitHub activity manually — commit patterns, frequency, time of day, context switching between repos. The data told a clear story my brain had missed.
So I turned that process into a product: CodexPulse.
It connects to your GitHub and automatically:
- Generates your daily standup from your actual commits
- Scores your burnout risk based on real activity patterns
- Tracks your career health across all your repos
It's live at codexpulse.io. Free tier has 3 standups per month, Pro is $12 per month.
I'd love feedback from other indie hackers — especially:
- Are you solving the standup problem a different way?
- Do you think burnout can actually be measured from commit data?
- What signals would you add?
Happy to answer any questions about the build — React frontend, FastAPI backend, Supabase for the database, and Claude AI for the intelligence layer.

A colleague of mine was one of the sharpest developers I knew. Smart, experienced, always shipped on time. Then one quarter, something quietly changed. He was missing standups, his PRs were stalling, and he seemed distan

The product has a real pain, but I’d be careful trying to sell all three angles at once.
Standups, burnout risk, and career growth are different buying triggers.
The strongest first wedge is probably the daily standup problem because it is immediate, easy to understand, and happens every workday. Burnout and career growth can become deeper layers after trust is built.
If CodexPulse leads with too many outcomes, developers may find it interesting but not know the exact reason to try it today.
