While running FinWise (https://finwiseapp.io), Jason and I started experimenting with AI to get more out of a two-person team.
The problem was always the same. The tools were smart, but they didn't know us. Every session started from scratch where we had to explain the product, the context, who we are. Copy paste, everyday.
It got frustrating enough that we just started building what we actually wanted. Something connected to Slack, our docs, our whole history - that knew what was going on and didn't need a briefing every time.
And so Cogito was born.
I've been running it inside FinWise for a few weeks now. Genuinely feels like having another person on the team. It's a team-wide AI, that deeply understands the business and has organizational memory and understanding.
