Collections Copilot
AI that collects your overdue invoices
I've always found it awkward to ask people for money, even when it's money I'm owed.
Every time I had an overdue invoice sitting there, I'd tell myself I'd send a follow-up email "later," and later would somehow turn into two weeks of just... not dealing with it. I knew exactly what needed to happen — a polite nudge, then a firmer one if that didn't work — I just hated doing it enough that I kept avoiding it.
At some point I realized the actual task wasn't hard, I just didn't want to be the one doing it. So I started building something to do it for me.
Collections Copilot connects to Stripe, watches for invoices that go overdue, and works through a follow-up sequence — a first nudge, then a firmer one, then a final notice if it comes to that. The part I spent the most time thinking through wasn't the emails themselves, it was how much control to hand over. Because "let an AI email my clients about money" is not a small ask. So it starts conservative — Draft Only, where it writes and I still hit send — and only goes further (Semi-Auto, then Full Auto) once you actually trust it.
It's live now, and since this feels like exactly the community that's dealt with this same annoying task, the first 50 people who sign up get 50% off for life, plus priority support for the first 90 days.
Mostly I'm just curious if this problem is as universal as I think it is — does anyone else procrastinate on this exact email?
About
At the end of the day my motivation is my family, wife and 3 young children. But my motivation for actually building this was to help smaller users with issues that take away from their time.

The strongest part is the graduated control model. Starting with Draft Only and earning trust toward automation makes sense for a task where a badly timed or worded message can damage an otherwise good client relationship.
Thanks for the feedback! I think being cautious with customers is important. You want to collect but not damage relationships with customers!
