Hi Indie Hackers!
I’m the founder of CombienCaFait, and I wanted to share a quick story about why I spent the last few months building over 50 calculators for finance, health, and productivity.
The Problem: Every time I need to calculate a loan interest rate or check my BMI, I end up on websites that look like they’re from 2005, covered in aggressive banner ads, or—even worse—requiring an email signup just to see the result.
The Solution: I decided to build a "clean" alternative.
Zero ads.
Zero registration.
Fast loading times.
It’s been live since May 2025, and I’ve reached a milestone of 50+ tools (from mortgage simulators to protein intake calculators).
My Challenge: As an indie maker, competing against huge SEO farms is tough. I’m focusing on UX and utility rather than aggressive monetization.
I’d love your feedback on two things:
