Comistitch

I built Comistitch — an AI that turns any story into a full comic.

You write a story, pick from 15+ art styles (manga, webtoon, American comics…), and the AI breaks it into scenes, lays out the panels, and draws consistent artwork across the whole book. No drawing skills, no artist, no months of work.

The hardest part isn't generating one nice panel — it's keeping the same character and art style consistent across 10 panels. That's where most of our engineering goes.

We've crossed 500+ users, and — the part I'm most proud of — some of them are paying for it. Almost all of that growth has been organic, with basically zero ad spend. Self-funded project. Free tier live at https://comistitch.com.

If you've ever wanted to make a comic but couldn't draw — what stopped you? And for the founders here: how would you turn free/trial users into paying ones for a product like this?
