AI LinkedIn Comment & Reply Generator

June 29, 2026 Built a LinkedIn commenting assistant. Chrome approved, payments verified. Now the scary part: telling people.

I build small tools for professionals. Here is the latest one, warts and all.

What it is

CommentCraft is a Chrome extension that suggests natural comments and replies for LinkedIn. It reads the post you are responding to and proposes something grounded in what was actually said. You pick, edit, post. An assistant, not autopilot. The bot comments are easy to spot and I did not want to build more of those.

Why I built it

I kept opening LinkedIn, finding a post worth responding to, then closing the tab. The blank comment box wins more often than people admit. You either post something generic or post nothing. Commenting is the cheapest distribution there is, so that closed tab is a missed shot every time. I wanted to remove the friction without removing the human.

Where it is now

Build is complete. Chrome Web Store reviewed and approved, so it is live and public. Payment profile verified end to end as merchant of record. Free tier to start, then credit packs and unlimited plans.

What I am doing now

It is technically live on the Chrome Web Store, but I have not made noise about it yet. I am in the quiet window before a real launch: pricing checks, email delivery, making sure nothing breaks once traffic actually shows up. Listed but not launched.

The thing I keep wrestling with: when is the quiet window actually over? I could polish forever. At some point you just open the doors.

For those who have launched a few times, how did you know you were ready to make noise? And what is the one prelaunch thing you wish you had not skipped?

Are you enjoying using it for your own use? I find that's usually a good sign.

One thing I've noticed is that "ready" often shifts from a product question to a learning question. If the next wave of users is more likely to teach you something than break you, the quiet window has probably done its job. The bigger risk isn't usually launching with one missing feature—it's delaying the feedback that tells you what actually matters.
