I'm developer who has never used no-code tools. I keep hearing about these new fancy ways to build things fast so I decided to use this project to intentionally not code and evaluate and use no-code tools.
I played with notion, super, potion, bubble, webflow, airtable. There are limitations with these tools, but it was fun to play around.
I'm also a full-stack developer but not a designer. Decided to ship something that I designed while ignoring the cringe feeling of making lame-looking stuff. It's tool and my goal is for it to be useful to others, it doesn't have to be perfect!
I maintain a list of project ideas as they occur to me. I was looking for the next project to ship for my ship-every-six-weeks challenge and choose this ideas I had written down earlier this year:
Basically, I've noticed that there are many high quality online communities on the Internet now, but they're not easy to discover. Simply searching doesn't surface many niche communities. Community Finder is a tool to solve that. Inspired by things like inbox stash for newsletters.
The goal is maintain a curated list of the best communities. Communities where the members learn and grow together, where members support each other and achieve goals.
