CompanyNews
Company intelligence, beyond the headlines.
Hey Indie Hackers,
I was spending hours trying to make my cold outreach personal, just to avoid sounding like another automated LinkedIn bot. My goal was to find real trigger events to show I've done my homework, but the process was time consuming and did not scale.
I needed to track more than just keywords; I wanted to know about "leadership changes in the sales department" or a specific division's new product strategy. The standard tools were just too noisy and did not let me get hyper specific and nuanced.
I started running a small experiment with a design partner, sending them manual briefings every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A few weeks in, they started asking to add more companies and onboard their team. That was my "aha" moment the signal that I needed to go all in on this.
So here I am, building CompanyNews.
It’s like a supercharged Google Alerts that finds the signals you actually need in video transcripts, investor decks, podcasts, and social posts ... and so on!
I'm still early and searching for market validation. My main goal is to get feedback on the product flow and connect with other founders. If you're in sales, investing, or just track companies obsessively, I’d love to hear if this solves a real problem for you!
Cheers
About
The way companies share information has changed, but our tools haven't. We're stuck with noisy text alerts while the real signals are in video, audio, and images. I built CompanyNews to find the signal in the noise.
