Breaks the ice where work happens
Wow. There has been a lot of changes to the Slack submission process. Especially du to the new granular permission system. Every API feature has more or less its own permission and you need to balance your app feature and the needed permissions all the time.
Not sure if my directory text is sufficient but the website, support flow, documentation and onboarding process should valid for the the initial submission of comrades. Check out https://getcomrades.com
It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for comrades. I worked mostly nights and weekends, and I coded the whole thing in nodejs since that's that I'm the most comfortable with.
The new Slack Bolt framework it pretty impressive. PM if you have questions or other great ideas what could / should be built as a Slack extension

Isn't that strange?
Even though we are connected with all kind of tools (in my case it is primarily Slack) with our team mates we feel somehow disconnected or even lonely when working from home or generally in a distributed team?
My conclusion is that while Slack works perfectly fine to organize work and even some non-work related topics in channels we hardly have 1:1, personal conversation.
So I came up with the idea to improve personal engagement and social connections in Slack. The foundation is a customizable profile for every users (right in Slack) that helps to get to know, find and connect with each others.
What's your conclusion? Does that make sense?
