How did I do it?
- I submitted my domain in google search console.
- Submitted a sitemap on the google console.
- Routinely submit the URL manually for indexing on google search console.
I have realized that the site is becoming popular in countries that I had don't initially targeted. This means I will have to increase the target and make it open for confessors from all over the world.

I did this by optimizing the speed the script. Now it is working faster. Encouraging members to stop by quickly and confess that crazy thing they have ever done.
I noticed the Alexa rank increased by over 1200, just after I made the speed optimizations. I havent even done any paid or free marketing campaign yet.

Sharing the site on relevant forums, telegram, whatsapp, twitter and facebook. We have not done any serious advertisement of the website. Neither have we posted any guest articles in DA websites. The traffic is purely organic and the posts are real..

Cograts man. I am very curious in how you are monetizing (or your strategy). I'm assuming you are after a Kenyan audience given the domain selection. What are your traffic figures?

I haven't started monetizing the website. I need it to get enough organic traffic. Then I will implement the google Adsense. There is one more SMS feature that am yet to implement. Once I get it up, i will be able to make money from the traffic which i belive will be huge.
And yes, my targe is Kenyan. If figured if i get enough local traffic and return users, i will be able to add some more features. I have been approached by some psychiatrist and mental health practitioners on how to use the site as a tool in therapy. Am still looking into the proposals.

That is awesome man; especially the therapeutic angle. You could add a ranting feature(where it would be more of venting frustrations) alongside the current secret confession feature.

Confession.co.ke just passed 200 posts! This has been the result of several efforts, including blogging, social media marketing, press, and podcast appearances.
We were stuck around 100 posts for over one week, but what really turned the tide for us was press.l shared the website in several telegram and WhatsApp channels and groups respectively. 🤞
I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem, and so last week I sat down to think about all the problems in my life.
It turned out that I had quite a few problems worth solving, and the most interesting one led me to the idea for Confessions.co.ke
