I built this template by thinking about a very specific kind of problem: how content gets made when the process is scattered.

Ideas live in too many places. Drafts get buried. Publishing plans are often unclear. Even when the content itself is good, the system around it can be messy enough to slow everything down.

So I wanted to create something simple in Notion that would make the workflow easier to follow.

Nothing complicated. Just a structure that helps answer a few basic questions at any moment: What ideas do I have? What is in progress? What should be published next?

That led to a simple pipeline: idea → draft → ready → published.

Once that existed, the process became easier to manage. Instead of starting from scratch every time, there was a clear place to move each piece of content forward.

I also separated content by platform, because not every format works the same way. Short-form, long-form, and social posts each need their own rhythm. Having that separation made planning feel much more intentional.

The biggest idea behind the template was to treat content like a system, not a set of isolated posts.

One strong idea can become multiple assets: a video, a carousel, a thread, a short post, a repurposed angle.

That shift matters, because it reduces the pressure to constantly invent something new. The goal becomes less about chasing more ideas and more about organizing the right ones well.

So the workflow is simple: capture, organize, produce, reuse.

It is a small system, but it removes a lot of friction.

And that is usually what makes a template useful: not that it adds more to manage, but that it makes the work easier to carry forward.
