The smartest way to plan your social media

November 12, 2019 $1M ARR

We reached £1m ARR this year. It' took us 3 years to reach this milestone, lots of testing across all areas of the business and $3.2m of funding.

The key things I've learned along this journey that is relevant and important for other founders is that you need serious perseverance as you go on your startup journey. Happy to answer any questions on how we got there.

    Testing and persistence! Yep...understood.

Did the investment make it harder or easier?

    Psychologically?
    Practically?

Awesome story! Thanks for sharing the capital required to get you to the 1MM monthly run rate. That's super helpful in planning growth and capital needs.

One area I'm targeting for growth is partnerships (my product targets agencies, too). Would you be open to talking about a marketing partnership in 2020?

Congrats man. Serious milestone. What was the most effective channel for you guys after the initial customers?

    Let’s say from 100 - 1,000 customers

Word of mouth and organic are by far our best. On the paid side, Google/FB/Blogger outreach the best :)

Dude I think you pitched to us around 3 years ago when I worked at Forever Beta (an ad agency), congrats on the amazing progress!

Congrats! What’s your paying customers % split between pricing tiers?

Most of our customers are on our 'Company' plan. I cant share exact figures online but that makes up the most of our customers and revenue :)

So inspiring. My SAAS is making $400/month. Been struggling to scale. Would you mind if I emailed you the techniques I've been trying and getting some feedback? Thanks.

For first 100 customers there was a split around word of mouth, referrals and outbound sales. Nothing else worked properly for initial traction!

About

I used to be a social media manager for a couple of large entertainment brands in the UK, and then started my own social media agency, and I wanted to create a better way to plan and publish content.
