Happy to read and subscribe to any newsletters that Indie Hackers are publishing. Same for podcasts but those take a bit longer for me to listen to, compared to reading a newsletter.

I hope a tiny piece of feedback is okay: on the sample you posted, I can only see three lines of text about each indie creator. I feel like if I could read some more there, maybe ten lines or the full paragraph, it will have a better chance of hooking the reader and getting a click

Your feedback is interesting because the super short descriptions are based upon MailChimp's suggestions. I think their advice is based upon retail email though. So, this week I think I'll try your recommendation.

Soooo, the longer text had no measurable impact 😆. Clicks (and opens) were pretty much the same as we always have.
I think this has more to do with the nature of the newsletter, itself, than anything. I think it's too broad. It's a random selection of five interesting or unusual indie creators of all types. I might try a different format that focuses on more of a theme each week.
We also don't get a lot of signups right now. So there's a lot of discovery and improvement to do with the newsletter. I want to wait until the site's getting a little bit more traffic though, and use learnings from that, before making any changes.
Gotcha. Well it's one more data point in the bucket then 😂

I just subscribed. At first I thought the email emoji in the corner was for me to email you instead of subscribe. I would recommend maybe changing that to a button that says subscribe for updates.
Only post jobs with salaries is sweet! I wish that was the norm

I've also just realised the subscribe form was hard coded to always subscribe to my own email address - awkward 🤦🏼♂️
