Context Sync
Open source AI Memory
So there I was, 2 AM, explaining to Claude—for the THIRD time that week—why we're using TypeScript instead of JavaScript for this project.
You know that feeling? Where you've had this beautiful, deep conversation with your AI assistant about your architecture, your tech stack, why you made certain decisions... and you're sitting there thinking "Wow, for twenty bucks a month, this is amazing!" Actually, scratch that—it was FREE because you somehow managed to snag that Black Friday deal, so really this AI is working pro bono, basically charity work at this point, and you almost feel guilty about it except NOT REALLY because guess what happens next?
You close the chat and POOF. Gone. Vanished. Like it never happened.
Next day, I open Cursor. "Hey, let's work on that API endpoint we discussed."
Cursor: "What API? Who are you? Do I know you?"
ME: deep breath "Okay, so we're building this thing, and we decided to use REST instead of GraphQL because—"
CURSOR: blank stare
And don't even get me started on what happens when you hit a token limit mid-conversation. It's like your AI just had a lobotomy and you're back to square one.
So I snapped.
I built Context Sync. It's basically a shared brain for all your AI tools. Claude remembers something? Cursor knows it too. Made a decision in Copilot? Continue dot dev has the memo.
It automatically captures:
🧠 Architecture decisions (so you stop re-explaining why you chose Next.js)
💬 Important conversations (the good stuff, not the "fix this typo" chatter)
🐛 What you learned from debugging (because pain should be documented)
📝 Everything syncs to Notion (your docs write themselves now)
The best part? You literally install it, run one setup command, and boom—your AI tools can finally remember things like normal human beings.
No more "Let me explain this again..."
No more "As I mentioned earlier..." (when earlier was in a different tool)
No more copying and pasting context between windows like some kind of digital archaeologist.
It's open source, MIT licensed, and I've been using it for months. My documentation actually exists now. Wild, right?
Here's the thing though—I can't be the only developer who's tired of being their AI's external hard drive. So if this sounds like your life, give it a shot: https://github.com/Intina47/context-sync
And if you think I'm crazy (possible), or if you have ideas to make it better (definitely want to hear them), let me know. I'm here to chat, help with setup, or just commiserate about AI amnesia.
TL;DR: Your AI forgets everything. I got annoyed. Built a thing. Now my AI remembers stuff. You can have it too. It integrates to:
Let's stop repeating ourselves and start shipping faster.
About
I was tired of re-explaining my project to AI tools every time I switched platforms or started a new chat. I'd waste hours repeating myself. Context Sync gives your AI tools a shared memory.Plus, it auto-syncs to Notion.
