Continuity
Every AI session starts knowing your architecture
I built Continuity — a VS Code extension + CLI that gives AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) persistent memory of your architectural decisions, so they stop re-suggesting things you already ruled out.
Here's the uncomfortable number: 336 installs, 8 paying customers. Most people try it and just... disappear. I don't know if it's price, setup friction, the free tier already being enough, or something I haven't thought of — and I've decided I'd rather find out than keep tweaking pricing pages on a guess.
So I'm talking to people directly. If you've ever installed an AI memory/context tool (mine or someone else's) and dropped it, or if you use Cursor/Claude Code/Copilot daily and still find yourself re-explaining your codebase every session — I'd like 8 minutes of your time. It's a short voice interview, no scheduling needed: https://buildpad.io/interview/wbxdg5a7
Happy to give a free Pro license either way, just for the honest feedback. And genuinely curious what this community's own experience with AI memory tools has been — drop it in the comments too.
About
I kept re-explaining the same architectural decisions to Claude Code and Cursor, session after session , the same 'why did we choose X over Y' conversation, over and over. So I decided to try to fix it.

The 336 installs → 8 paying customers gap is more interesting than the pricing question. Going directly to users should help distinguish whether the friction is activation, perceived value, or simply that the free tier solves enough of the problem.
That's exactly the split I'm trying to nail down. What surprised me in the telemetry is there's an even earlier cliff , most installs never come back for a second day at all, so for a lot of people the trial/pricing question never becomes relevant, they're just gone. But there's a real chunk who did come back, clearly got it working, and still didn't pay , and that's the group I actually care about, because "never got it working," "saw it but it wasn't enough," and "the free tier already covers it" point to three completely different fixes.
If you've used it (or something similar) yourself, I'd genuinely want your take in that interview — even a "didn't bother going deeper" counts as data.
That’s a useful split. I’d be interested in continuing the conversation — would you be open to sharing the best email to reach you on?
Requesting email addresses from multiple random users on IH is a big red flag.(I checked your history)
I'm willing to keep the conversation going here.
Fair enough. Happy to keep the conversation here.
