I was expecting relatively low net revenue during Q2. During that time, I completed the effort to make eventOne almost completely low touch. Q3 and Q4 are reserved for primarily marketing/sales.

Amazing work! Last year our department looked for a similar solution to serve an internal event. Personally I would love to be able to set up a sample event to see how your tool can be used!
How do you differentiate eventOne from other EventTech providers and how are you selling to customers? Thanks for being so open about your product,

@thomasMack I would love to give you a demo! Or you could also sign up for an account and then I can create a demo org for you.

Currently, my biggest selling point is the pricing model. Most EventTech companies charge per-event. I, however, have a single subscription per-organization with unlimited events. Most of my customers are non-profit orgs who have a main conference and then smaller events throughout the year. That pricing model makes a lot more sense for them.

My vision is to create a single online platform for all event needs. From a mobile app to registration software to an event website.

Great to have real, not-markety-I'm-billionaire-in-3-months feedback! Keep up the good work!

June 19, 2019 Analytics!

I have finally added analytics to the eventOne dashboard! I thought that it would be much harder, but thanks to Keen.io, it was extremely easy. This is a huge feature for my customers who really need to know the usage of their event app. It also allows me to remove a ton of really bad code for calculating things like average rating on sessions and speakers.

You might think about looking for user behavior analytics too. like not only do reporting, but also you can do some kind of PLG and GTM

Your case study is very helpful. Thank you for sharing it. I'm looking forward to applying your techniques to our own website https://leatherjild.com/product/personalized-women-leather-wallet/ . Your step-by-step guide will hopefully help us to develop our startup as quickly as possible. As described in the case study. Thanks a lot.

I am using Simple Analytics on my product UpStamps. Very simple to use with a great mission on privacy.

This past quarter has been pretty good considering that up until a few weeks ago, I was expecting that net revenue would be negative. We'll see how the next three quarters turn out as I begin to shift my focus to marketing.

    Congrats. Nice landing page design.

Thanks for sharing! Do you find # of commits useful? To me that is just a vanity metric since it will only go up. :)

Yeah, the number of commits is pretty much a vanity number. Although, it is the number of commits this quarter so it doesn't just go up.

We found that conferences were not utilizing technology as much as they could. Many manual and time consuming process could be automated. So we have set out to help them utilize technology!
