August 24, 2026 What I've been building lately: 10 new tools for Conveerter 🚀

I've been continuing to expand Conveerter, and I've added another 10 tools across productivity, education, games, and everyday utilities.

Here's what's new:

📚 Productivity & Education

🛠️ Text & Tech Tools

🎮 Games & Fun

🌊 Creative / Relaxing

One thing I've been experimenting with is building both practical utilities and fun tools instead of limiting Conveerter to traditional file converters.

The goal is to create a place where someone can find a useful tool for almost any small task they need to accomplish online.

I'm still building and learning as I go.

Which of these would you actually use? And what type of tool should I add next?

August 18, 2026 Another batch of new tools added to Conveerter 🚀

I've been continuing to expand Conveerter with more practical browser-based tools.

This week, I added 11 new tools:

🧩 Image & PDF Tools

🔎 Text Extractors

The idea behind Conveerter is to keep building simple tools that solve specific tasks directly in the browser.

I'm especially interested in finding out which small, focused tools people actually find useful.

If you could add one simple online tool to Conveerter, what would you build next?

August 15, 2026 I just added 10+ new tools to Conveerter 🚀

I've been continuing to build and expand Conveerter, and I just added a new batch of free online tools.

This update includes:

🎬 Video Tools

🎨 Image Tools

📝 Text & Calculator Tools

🎲 Fun Tools

The goal with Conveerter is to build a growing collection of simple tools that people can use directly in their browser without needing to install software.

I'm still early in the journey and adding tools regularly.

I'd love to get feedback from other indie hackers:

Which of these tools would you actually use? And what kind of tool should I build next?

August 11, 2026 I built Conveerter — a collection of 100+ free online tools

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Aldrin, an indie maker and the founder of Conveerter.

I recently launched Conveerter, a website with 100+ free online tools designed to help people handle everyday tasks directly in their browser.

There are tools for things like:

  • 📄 PDF and document tasks

  • 🖼️ Image editing and conversion

  • 🔢 Calculators and unit conversion

  • 🛠️ Generators and developer tools

  • 🎲 Fun and printable tools

  • 🔗 Text, URL, and other utilities

The idea is simple: instead of having to search for a different website every time you need to do a small task, I want Conveerter to become a useful collection of tools that people can come back to.

I'm building everything step by step and continuing to add new tools, improve existing ones, and make the site faster and easier to use.

Right now, I'm especially interested in learning more about SEO, getting my first consistent users, and figuring out which tools people find the most useful.

I'd love to hear from other indie hackers:

What was the biggest challenge you faced when launching your first product?

And if you have a minute, I'd also appreciate any feedback on Conveerter.

Thanks for having me here! Looking forward to meeting other builders. 🚀

could you make it to cli

Yes, that’s something I’d like to explore. Conveerter is currently focused on web-based tools, but a CLI version could be useful for developers and automation. Thanks for the suggestion!

The interesting challenge with 100+ tools seems less about adding more and more tools and more about discovering which ones actually earn repeat usage. I'd be curious to see which 5–10 tools end up driving most of the returning traffic.

Absolutely. That’s something I’m very interested in as well. With 100+ tools, the goal isn’t just to keep adding tools, but to figure out which ones people actually come back to and use regularly. I’m keeping an eye on the usage data to see which 5–10 tools emerge as the most valuable, and I’ll use that to guide what I build next. Thanks for the insight!

That makes sense. Once you have enough usage data, what would actually make you cut or deprioritize a tool rather than keep it around as part of the broader collection?

I’d look at usage, repeat visits, and how much maintenance a tool requires. If something gets consistently little usage and doesn’t seem to provide much search or user value, I’d probably deprioritize it. But if it’s cheap to maintain, I’d likely keep it around rather than remove it just because it isn’t a top performer.

That makes sense. You’ve clearly thought about the tradeoffs here. I’d be interested in continuing the conversation — what’s the best email to reach you at?
