Building apps with Google Apps Script is decidedly awesome way to get things done for the lone hacker. But getting through the Google OAuth security review is not awesome at all. After about 2 months of waiting for a reply I have finally been approved! This means that not only can more than 100 people install the application, Google will stop scaring any would be users away with the "un-trusted apps" screen. I feel like this project has been in a long funk due to this particular round of frustration.

Also, ordered my first business cards that say "Founder", feel like a boss :)

I made a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow9JKb9N7fk) and updated the product site (https://www.ghostwrench.net/convertplus) and I am ready for my first ever product launch on Product Hunt. I am excited to see what will happen! I feel that the overall production quality of the post is as good as I could make it but I know that many of the other offerings have much more design effort. I hope that the utility of my product will carry me. Guess I will find out.

After struggling to find a good way to do low cost marketing for my other product (LegendSheet). I have decided to take the feature that I am getting the most positive feedback about (extended support for unit conversions and operation on numbers with units) and making it into its own product. I am testing the advice that is seen commonly in this community that a simpler product is easy to market. Hoping for some good results down the road!
